My name is Yayun Qiao. I’m an Air Resource Engineer working on air quality issues related to clean shipping. I write and post articles about maritime regulations, emission control, and environmental developments in the shipping sector.

I care deeply about protecting the environment and improving air quality, and I believe sharing knowledge is a key part of driving positive change. Through my writing, I hope to raise awareness and contribute to a cleaner, healthier future.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Science from Lanzhou University, a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Washington State University, and a Master’s degree in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dog, hiking, and reading.
